Einsora is open source under the MIT licence, and free for everyone (ADR-0011, ADR-0020).
In plain English
Section titled “In plain English”You may use Einsora for anything, including commercially; copy it; change it; merge it into your own software; and publish, distribute, sublicense, or sell copies.
You must keep the copyright notice and the licence text in every copy or substantial portion of it.
There’s no warranty. The software is provided as is: the authors aren’t liable for anything that happens from using it.
What it covers, and what it doesn’t
Section titled “What it covers, and what it doesn’t”- Covered: the code and documentation in the Einsora repository.
- Not covered: models. Each model keeps its own licence, and you must follow it (Llama’s, for example). The catalog shows a model’s licence when it’s known.
- Not covered: dependencies. Third-party libraries keep their own licences (Apache-2.0, BSD, MIT, and similar), all of which allow this use. Their notices ship with Einsora’s binaries.
- Not covered: the name. The MIT licence grants rights to the software, not to the Einsora name or logo.
- No paid edition. There’s nothing to buy: no paid tier, no enterprise edition, and no licence keys.
